the cbcp head is blabbing about politics and talks about poverty and why the government hasn't done anything about it and that the Philippines is being controlled by few political powers with self serving interests.

i say, that is why this bishop want to be included with the few political powers in the philippines, he wants to BE one if not the absolute power here in the philippines, you say there is poverty, what are you doing to address this as priests, look at you priests you are so rich and you talk about poverty, why not share your riches or better yet do not be so hungry about power and money.

in the first place why we have political assholes is because you(the guardians and teachers of morals) failed. YOU FAILED!! you are no longer an effective cure in this society but have turned into viruses that plunder the wealth and power of society.

priests you don't think about how society lives, you just say these to gain more money collected from poor people. i know for a fact because i know a lot of priests that are such. i have many horrible stories of priests. if you really know how a poor man lives why don't you feel for them, why do you stack yourselves with those cars, bodyguards, casino, land titles and all the same human lust while you preach that we shouldn't so. ahhh i know, so that people who have extra money will not spend it for themselves but instead offer it to your churches and you priests amass them for yourselves. you really are self servers. i mentioned body guards, cause i know a priest who have a couple of body guards aside from the church body guards, why bodyguards? peter didn't need bodyguards, they were actually ready to die for their belief -- AND you are not?

what is interesting about the catholic bishops conference of the philippines' head is that what you are voicing is just your own words, what youre saying is not a representation of all bishops. i thought you call yourselves one in god.

don't you remember the separation of state and church. the church wanted this before so that churches don't get politicized. but now you church are meddling with the affairs of government. i don't remember christ doing that. and you call yourselves representatives of christ?

advice: reform the people through christs teachings not through politics. it is not the government nor the politicians at mistake here, it is the lack of moral values they have because you failed. you failed reforming society and now you want to try politics?

i just can't understand the logic of this

if god's name is x

and god's name should not be degraded by using the name x to anything lower than what god is, for example, naming a teddy bear as x.

THEN

why do these people use the name x into theirs? are they equal to god? or is god degraded into a human level.

do you get the logic around this? cause i don't?

if an artificial intelligence is around today and we feed him with this, the AI's response to this is: "illogical" or "are you trying to be funny?"

i feel sorry for the British teacher. this what makes me shun away from written religion.

Who am i?

the title should be: who am i now, since i don't actually have a definite identity.

but for now, lostutopian is:

1. no longer a Christian not even a deist, but my philosophy mostly aligns with deism. i do things because it is the right thing to do not because i am told to do it. i do things not for money but for the welfare of my fellow human beings. i retired from christianism because it failed to answer new questions in my life and i just don't see a clearer picture of god from that perspective. let me just clear things that i still believe in god it is just that i view/understand him differently. and if it is not boastful to say that i have a better/clearer view of god.

2. i was born to be a programmer, an analyst by heart.

3. never smoked a single cigarette.

4. i don't thirst for starb***** coffee.

4. it makes me smile when i see good things happen like when i see people helping each other for nothing in return.

5. it gives me hope to meet people who thinks otherwise of this world, or in short thinks just like me. makes me feel like i am not alone. it actually is very rare to find such people. in my lifetime i have found only 2 persons who also see the world as i am. one is my brother and another i just met a few months ago, i tell you it is very rare. most people just don't care about the problems of the world or are blind to these. some see the problem but don't act on them, they think it is not their responsibility, i think they're just here to pray and save themselves -- what a selfish view. they do things(as it is written in the bible) to save themselves from hell, very selfish. why not do the right thing just because you want to help others. can't we at least forget about ourselves and let us solve the problems of this world collectively.

6. it makes me feel hopeless when i see violence, injustice, unjust treatment(and many more...)

7. lastly, i am lost in this world filled with madness, illogical reasoning, gun hoe people, self loving people, hierarchical structure of society and self preserving intentions(and many more...).
